Resort Manager to oversee our new six-cabin

Job Overview

As the Resort Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our intimate

lakeside resort. Your primary duties will include managing guest check-ins and check-outs,

maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the cabins and grounds, and providing

exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs

 Clean and maintain cabins and common areas to ensure a high standard

 Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests

 Provide local recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and activities

 Assist with wedding venue coordination and guest accommodations

 Handle basic cleaning tasks and coordinate with contractors for complex issues

 Manage inventory of supplies and place orders as needed

 Implement and maintain safety and security procedures

 Assist in developing marketing to attract guests, mainly for wedding-related stays

 Provide reports on occupancy rates, guest feedback, and financial performance

Qualifications

 High school diploma required, degree in hospitality management is a plus

 Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

 Basic computer skills, including familiarity with reservation systems

 Physical ability to perform cleaning and light maintenance tasks

 Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Preferred Skills

 Knowledge of the St. Joe, Michigan area and local attractions

 Experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields

 Basic understanding of financial management and budgeting
